State WSDCC Chair Pelz says everyone should join Washington Public Campaigns, www.washclean.org. Pelz wrote a letter to Washington Public Campaigns specifically stating that the WSDCC wants all state legislators to educate themselves about public campaign financing for legislative, executive and judicial campaigns at the state level and to support legislation to accomplish such reforms. The 17th Legislative District Democrats here in town pushed this endorsement through the state party apparatus. Thank you Dwight Pelz, the WSDCC, the officials of the 17th Legislative District and its members. Washington Public Campaigns is a non-partisan non-profit organization dedicated to implementing voluntary "clean election" campaign financing in Washington State.

This is a great step in the right direction! Everyone’s voice counts in our democracy, and this is one step toward making sure that everyone is heard and has influence. I would especially like to thank John Howes, Pete Aller, and the team who signed and promoted this resolution at the 17th District level (in addition to John and I):
